Ask a Dreamer

January 9, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Most were brought to the United States when they were an average of 6 years old by their parents. They had no say whether they wanted to be here, but they made the U.S. their home. They have worked hard to create successful lives for themselves and their families. They are DREAMERS and they are your neighbors, friends, and co-workers.

During this contentious time in our nation’s history. What does this mean for their future? How are they feeling? What does this mean for us as a country? These questions and more will be answered by our panel of Dreamers from across our community. They will reveal what it’s like to be a Dreamer in today’s world and will share their thoughts & experiences including some of today’s most controversial topics.

Do Good Roseville has partnered with the Ramsey County Library to create the “Ask A…” Series.  This popular series seeks to give a voice to the underrepresented in our community by using personal stories from a diversity of life experiences. We hope to create dialogue, promote understanding and forge a stronger community.
